I've been using a personal website to "kind of" blog regarding the job. But I am VERY picky about what I write about. Unfortunately we are seeing more and more of the evil word "Internet" in policies and general orders. Such broad policies make it very difficult to blog about the job for fear of being in violation of policy. Now, common sense applies here of course. You'd be foolish to write about active or pending cases. That's just crazy. But what about basic thoughts? I'm still weighing this one as I search for similar blogs asking the question "How do you get away with it?" I can only imagine these policies haven't hit every department - yet.
Keep up the good work guys. Overall, the 2 guys have a great concept using video in law enforcement blogging.
